Financial Information

Transparent costs, thoughtful advocacy.

Our financial coordinator works alongside your surgical team from the first call to the last invoice. The pages below outline how we approach insurance, payment, and the conversation in between.

Our philosophy

Cost is one of the most stressful parts of preparing for gender-affirming surgery. We believe the only fair way to address it is with clarity—a written estimate, a single point of contact, and a willingness to advocate to your insurance carrier on your behalf at every stage.

Because each policy is different and the landscape continues to evolve, we do not publish coverage charts here. Instead, we conduct a complete benefits verification specific to your plan after your consultation, and walk you through exactly what to expect before any commitment is made.

Our Process

How we advocate for you.

From the first call to the final surgical estimate, our authorization team manages the insurance process so you can focus on preparing for surgery.

01

Verification of benefits

After your consultation, our team contacts your insurance carrier to confirm your specific gender-affirming benefits, deductible status, and any plan-specific requirements.

02

Document collection

We assist in gathering the materials your carrier requires—mental-health letter, hormone-therapy records, photographs, and a detailed medical-necessity narrative tailored to each procedure.

03

Prior authorization & advocacy

Our authorization team submits a complete prior-authorization packet on your behalf, tracks it through the carrier's review, and pursues formal appeals when appropriate.

04

Written financial estimate

Final out-of-pocket costs are reviewed and a written, line-itemized estimate is signed before your surgery is scheduled. There are no surprises on surgery day.

A written estimate before commitment
We do not ask patients to commit to a surgical date until your individual benefits have been verified, an authorization determination has been received (when applicable), and a line-itemized estimate has been reviewed and signed in writing.
Payment Options

Ways to pay.

Whether your procedure is fully covered, partially covered, or self-pay by choice or by exclusion, we offer multiple pathways to make care accessible.

Discussed openly, never assumed.

Bundled surgical packages

A single, written quote that includes the surgeon's fee, accredited facility fee, anesthesia, all standard pre-operative testing, and post-operative visits within the first year.

CareCredit & Alphaeon

Healthcare-specific financing partners offering 6, 12, 18, or 24-month plans. Application can be completed online before your consultation.

HSA & FSA

Eligible expenses can be paid using funds from a Health Savings Account or Flexible Spending Account when the procedure is documented as medically necessary.

In-house payment plans
